kaiya's first 548 days of fashion...

dear kaiya...today is your 18 month birthday and it is hard to believe that you are already 548 days old...where has the time gone?? it seems like only yesterday mommy was as big as a semi-truck and counting down the seconds until your arrival and how FUN it was going to be to dress my lil' girl...(note: please do not mind MY fashion in the picture below...it was the ONLY thing that i could fit into at this point)

and after about 13 hours of labor...you decided to make your grand debut and gosh you were even cute when you first came out (very hard to pull off darling!) and of course i had you dressed up in pink when you were about 4 hours old...no hospital gowns for my baby girl! : )

i have a tendency to deck you out in ALL pink. my favorite was when people would see you at the store and ask..."oh look how sweet...is it a boy or a girl??" and i would want to say to them SERIOUSLY?!?!?...i think you can answer that one for yourself!

during your 1st year of life you always let me put fun things on your head...you do not really allow me to do this anymore...look at how CUTE you look! wanna give it another shot??

again...your first birthday i put you in a tu-tu and leggings... and you were SUCH a hit at your party! i have a feeling your might protest the leggings now...

ok...the espadrille shoes may have been a bit too much and i am sorry for that but they look really cute with your dress!

thank you kaiya for bringing us sooo many smiles over the past 548 days and probably about 1,056 different fashion trends....we look forward to MANY years and MANY cute outfits to come!! thank goodness for your LARGE closet...it really comes in handy when we are hiding all those shopping bags from daddy! wink, wink! ; )
