INGREDIENTS
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 white onion (diced)
3 cups tomato juice
1 jar salsa
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can butter beans, rinsed and drained
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 can shoe peg corn
1 can chopped green chilies
1 package taco seasoning
DIRECTIONS
In a skillet cook beef and onions over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add remaining ingredients into a crock pot and add in beef and onions when ready. Stir the ingredients. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours in the crock pot or on high for 4 hours. I top mine with sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips. Enjoy!
MY FAVORITE CROCK POT TOOL:
and p.s.: if anyone is interested in my brother-in-law dave's chili recipe...head to your local wendy's. he took the easy way out and went to wendy's (as in the fast food joint) and ordered 8 cups of chili, dumped it into a crock pot and called it is own! however he only got one vote...maybe i should look into selling my recipe to wendy's...hmmmm?!?!?
and i had to throw in a lil' picture of my girls ave & kaiya...
HAPPY CHILI DAY!!
