have any of you ever heard of the latest toy craze sweeping 4 and 5 year olds across the nation??? well if you haven't consider yourself LUCKY!! jackson has had his lil' heart SET on "pixos" that only cost "two-nine" according to jackson (and in mommy talk that is $29.00 and way TOO expensive for what "pixos" actually are). so i had the brilliant idea to have him cash in his piggy bank and if he had "two-nine" saved, i would in turn take him to toys'r'us for pixos. so we emptied his piggy bank into two ziplocs bags and trucked it over to the bank (in white lightning of course!) and let's just say i was SHOCKED at how much money jackson had saved up...drum roll please...$56.39!!!
he was THRILLED and said to the bank teller "OH COME ON...you MUST be kidding me!" which got quite the laugh out of the tellers! so we kept $30 for our toys'r'us trip and put the remainder in his savings account. with cash in hand the three of us...jackson, myself and white lightning headed to toys'r'us for his precious pixos...
and just i as expected...the actual pixos are TOTALLY overpriced but to see the look on his face when he realized he had earned enough money was priceless! way to go j-man...what are you going to save for next???
